The valley blanche
In Haute Savoie from Chamonix, by the Aiguille du Midi cable car, come to do the ski descent of the « vallée blanche ».
The « vallée blanche » is a glacier which start at the « col du midi » and go down to finish at the « mer de glace » near « le montenvers ».
When the snow conditions are good, we can ski until Chamonix.
You will ski in a beautiful landscape in the massif du Mont Blanc.
Your mountain guide will show you those fabulous places where historic climbing happens.
To arrive at the departure of the « vallée blanche », we will take the aiguille du midi cable car until 3800 meters. We will descend one rope, a snow ridge before putting on our skis for twenty kilometres of decent.
The views are exceptional, we will ski between 4000 meter giants.
You don’t need a high ski level to do the « vallée blanche ». You must be able to ski red slopes to enjoy the descent.
In family or with friends, the descent of the « vallée blanche » will give you an unforgettable day.

Equipment
Ski trouser, polar and gore-tex jacket, ski hat, gloves, sun glasses or mask, high factor sun cream (up 30), lip stick.
A little back pack with drink and picnic. Don’t forget your camera…
