Mont Blanc 2 days | Grand Paradis + Mont Blanc | Training Mont Blanc 6 days
To give you the highest chance to accomplish your ascent of Mont Blanc, I suggest six days mountain training with the summit at the end.
In Chamonix valley, using the ski lifts, we climb to the refuge Albert 1er (2700m).
After a rest, we’ll go on the glacier du Tour to learn crampon techniques and how to correctly use a rope on a glacier.
Night in the refuge Albert 1er.
By the glacier du Tour, we’ll walk to the Col du Tour. From here we’ll climb Tête Blanche summit (3430m).
After that, we’ll traverse the glacier de Trient to climb the Aiguille du Tour (3540m).
Descent by the Col Supérieur du Tour and another night at Albert 1er.
We’ll go back to the Chamonix Valley in the morning.
We’ll spend the afternoon and the night in Chamonix.
We’ll take the Bellevue cable car and the Mont Blanc Tramway to the terminus : le Nid d’Aigle.
From here we’ll climb a path which passes near la Cabane des Rognes and arrive at the refuge de Tête Rousse (3150m), where we’ll spend the night.
We’ll start at 4 am, climb the Aiguille du Gouter to the same name refuge. After we’ll climb the Dome du Gouter(4300m), traverse the Col du Gouter, pass the bivouac Vallot and by the summit ridge we’ll arrive at the top of Mont Blanc(4810m).
We’ll come back by the same route and spend another night in Tête Rousse refuge.
Day 6
We’ll descend by the path « les Rognes » to the Nid d’Aigle and then return in the valley using the ski lifts.
This is an example for the Mont Blanc training.
It could change according to the weather conditions or the number of places in refuge. You must know that many people wants to climb Mont Blanc so we must book as soon as possible.
Technical gear can be supplied.
For the first three days 1 guide per 4 persons. For the Mont Blanc 1 guide per 2 persons.
1300 euros per person all is included except the energy food for the day, extra drinks and the night in Chamonix. If you need any assistance for accommodation in Chamonix, I can help you.
